With the warm weather of spring creeping back into Minnesota, the yearning for wide open spaces awakens in young goats and soon they are discovered gallivanting around hay fields, back yards and doorways. A few days ago our two young goats, Penelope and Glen Black, found their way out of the barn corral and into trouble. I hurried them back into the corral and decided it was time to turn to electric fence back on for the season. Before turning the fence on, Marco and I walked around the corral, checking the fence to ensure it was clear of debris or in need of fortification. We got the fence wired for the time being, however we'll be working on it more this weekend. We'll strengthen the fence by adding three lines of electric fence (instead of just one.)

Beginning to Fortify the Corral Fence

this reminds me of McLeods daughters... you will have to ask your mom what that show is if you don't know. :) They are always fixing fences
