After the house cleaning, it was time to give Boston a bath. We didn't want to clean the house just to let our dirty dog mess it all up again. Marco did the bathing and I did the blow drying. We discovered that it's pointless to give a dog a bath without drying them after. If they aren't dried, they'll smell like wet dog which isn't any better than a dirty dog. Boston hates bath time, but he puts up with it knowing it's his ticket to life in the living room.

A Clean House
Marco and I felt the urge to rearrange the house, move things from one closet to another, move furniture and houseplants here and there until everything had a nice spot to settle. After the rearranging came the cleaning. That meant sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, washing, drying, folding and putting away. Our basement steps and the entry way had accumulated a lot of snow, dirt and sidewalk salt and so I decided it was time to scrub them well. I got on my hands and knees and cleaned the floors spotless. It reminded me of how people used to wash their floors...no mops.

uring our rearranging I found a handful of fun cookie cutters. So of course, I had to make some cut-out cookies. The cookie cutters were in the shapes of buffalo, moose, fish, cows and apples. I made green, red and purple frosting to create a finished product.
