Yardwork on a Sunny Day

The weather has been beautiful these past few days. With all the snow gone, Marco and I noticed how messy our yard looked. We got to work raking the front yard and sweeping the sidewalk. Marco then took the tractor out to blade the driveway. Since the driveway gets plowed in the winter the gravel can become uneven. The tractor smoothed the gravel out and then Marco and I rake the extra gravel back onto the driveway to fill in any dips or holes. The driveway looked so nice when we were done.
Since the weather was so nice we let Claribel and Rosemary outside. We didn't put them with the other animals, since Rosemary is so small and we don't want any donkeys accidentally stepping on her. Claribel and baby joined us around the yard as we worked. Rosemary scampered around and basked in the sun, enjoying her first day out. She met Boston, our black lab, and after a few hesitant minutes she became comfortable with him.
