A Clean Barn

The rain stopped and and then the temperatures dropped. But before it became too cold, Marco decided to clean the barn. Since the animals had been inside for a few days, the pens became gross. Marco cleaned up the donkey and chicken pen. The animals were thankful to be outside and stretching their legs.
While Marco was outside, I stayed in and made a batch of our detergent so we could catch up on laundry. The detergent we make has four ingredients: bar soap, washing soda, borax and water. It takes about a half hour to make 2 gallons of detergent. It's great for people with sensitive skin because it doesn't have any added chemicals or dyes. It can be used to wash laundry and also can be used to clean counter-tops and floors. We've even used it to wash our donkeys and it worked great!
